I have seen all of Rachel's Shows and Becoming Rich is the best. Great work!

I saw your show in Brooklyn and was blown away by the emotional intensity of the performance. The familiar words of hadlokas neiros and erev shel shoshanym never sounded as full of meaning as they did tonight. Thank you for a performance that really made a difference. Hatzlach in all your endeavors.

The performance far surpassed our expectations...we all fell in love with her...she is just fabulous...rachel puts on a very creavite, very different performance. I only with she had sung all night-we would have listened. The Factors were delightful, she played to a totally full auditorium...the show is much much more delightful than i had believed...I would see it again in a heartbeat and tell everyone to see it too. We loved the stories she told, everything, everyone called to thank me for inviting them. Rachel spoke to our ladies after the show and they love her...Tovia is also such a nice young man and very helpful. You all did so much for me, now what can i do for you?
bobbi (Cascades ORT)

....Overall her performance was professional, the songs were diverse, and her acting alot of fun - and at times very touching to watch. Her style is very personal, her personality is down to earth, and you felt she shared in a open and sincere manner. I loved the show... we look forward to seeing more next time. ....The girls who attended the dance class loved being with Rachel, loved the class, her style of teaching, and the combination she taught. They said they loved the way she danced with them. I appreciate very much that she shared with us her talent and time....

I cannot begin to tell you how much our Cleveland NCSYers loved the Rachel Factor JAP show. If it will be shown anywhere in you region...Rachel is funny, talented, and full of "Chen." She charmed my girls and they are still talking about her! She has that special sparkle that will capture their hearts. Her sincerity is so true and pure. Please help these folks publicize their program as I did. Her life story is amazing, and it will be a real chizuk for your NCSY girls. We brought 94 kids to the Cleveland show because it was a huge hall-she loved our kids. Bring yours-she will love them too! Please feel free to call me about the show's content or with other questions.

Rachel, I came to your show in Boston. I was very impressed with the profesionalism and your truly beautiful voice and performance. You inspired many women that night and proved to be a gioret tzadeket. You are doing a great Kiddush Hashem by portraing how beautiful judaism can be. Thank you.
reyna s.

Rachel, your talk at Arie Crown was amazing. I was honored to have someone so special and great be at my school. Everyone can learn from you and its wonderful that you are still dancing. Loved the performance at Beachwood High, Ohio. Said hello to you rachel. I told you that you koshered the building and certainly brought in lots of kedusha. I am telling all my friends that they must go to your show. You gave me much joy and inspired me...I was once a singer in a band in the uk...It has been a long time since I sang. When I got home from the show I sang and felt good. Thank you for being out there.
beverly h.

...my husband and I were artists in Soho before....My daughter and I enjoyed your show so much! ï?We each have a cd and have listened to them all week....I feel I have a lot in common with you--and you're inspiring me to get my paints out!..THANK YOU!!!!

I saw the show in Jerusalem at the Machon Puah Foundation benefit. I can't say when I've enjoyed an evening of theatre more. Rachel is charming and talented. More than that, I was so moved to hear the story of someone who is on an amazing Jewish journey. The show made me feel so proud to be part of the Jewish people.
Rivkah Lambart Adler

esther rosner

You know because I could call myself an "all-american girl", I've never given thought to identity, but now I realize through your struggles with it I must be among the few that don't... I got curious and look where I am now, Jewish and happy.
c. g.

We walked into your show not knowing anything about it or you. My 18 and 20 years old daughters loved it and are now enjoying your (CD) - Thank you so much we had a wonderful and inspiring time. You are a beautiful woman and both of you are so talented. I am just sorry I went to your last performance in Montreal I couldn't share such a fantastic and professional show with any of my friends. Hope you'll be back so MANY missed it. From now on using the acronym JAP will have a different meaning for me. Good luck to you and your husband for your wonderful idea of a Performing Art Center In Jerusalem. Bonne Chance . Be'Hatslacha

Rachel, it was a hoot chatting with you...Thanks for helping me remember the importance of self examination. t. k.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my evening... She really turned on a light bulb in our heads and just made Judaism sound like it's what we've all been missing...I admire her...Be well
ra

I had the pleasure of seeing Rachel Factor perform twice...It was so wonderful I brought my mother and sister mother-in-law and sister-in -law the second time and they all loved it. I have recommended her show to all my friends all over the country. Arizona, Silver Spring, Baltimore, L.A., Queens everywhere... I very much enjoyed meeting Rachel after the show and wish her the greatest succes in the organization she is putting together.
jana lee

I wanted to say thank you for such an inspiring performance a few months ago at the O-U center. I very much enjoyed your open, engaging presentation, especially the music and moving songs.
naomi a.

...I've just seen to many cases where girls stop dancing because they can't find appropriate outlets for it. I think that what you do is really incredible.
adena k.

I had a great week thanks to the wonderful company I had last Shabbos - I miss you and wish you all Shabbat Shalom U'Mevorach! Bracha V'Hatzlacha ...
chana

The walk to the show during the blizzard was certaily worth it! Rachel, your show and message are woderful. I am a Baal Teshuvah- for over 30 years. Your explanation of the "magic" that you felt during your first Shabbos is one that I can identify with... Am Yisroel is fortunate to have you aboard!
batya

I want to thank you both for an incredible evening...My 18 year old daughter raved about your performance and that if it came to Toronto we had to go! Well, all I can say is my heart was so filled with every emotion after your show.....everything from joy to sorrow to an overwhelming feeling of thankfulness of being Jewish! Your honesty, your sharing deeply touched my soul. Thank you. I also would like to comment on the pleasure of going to such a professionally created show. It was incredible to go to such a wonderfully scripted, beautifully musical (my daughters and I are so fully enjoying your CD)and just a wonderful experience overall. I look forward to hearing about your school and hope to come participate as a student in the future. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. all the best.

I was at your Motzei Shabbos performance in Toronto...I am extremely interested in Lirkod...if I could possibly help out with it... I saw the incredible effect that the chance to perform had on the girls, and the fact that you're working to do something similar is absolutely amazing. Thank you for doing what you're doing!
hadassah m.

The audience was great last night. Lots of laughs, applause, and positive comments in the lobby. Today, everywhere I went, women stopped me and told me how much they enjoyed the show. I look forward to hearing more about the post-conversion anecdotes, songs, stories, dancing. I would be more than happy to negotiate bringing Rachel back for a sequel
stacy m.

That was just incredible!! You are truly an amazing, special individual.

I just saw your show...Excellent work, I've always been in awe of the one women show. I was also delighted to see that you are starting a theater school in Israel...I left it to HaShem to find a "kosher" venue to pursue my love for acting.please contact me so I could learn more about the programs you will be offering.Thank you.

Thanks so much for sharing your talents and your very genuine, real self with us in oak park last night. i was inspired already by writing a whole bunch of very therapeutic and deep poems today, especially after listening to your CD as well. thanks for touching us all in our creative and personal spaces, and inspiring us to share. Just to say very interesting and i enjoy your story immmensley
bernice a.

Rachel Factor spoke to our Grade 7, 9 and 11 students and she did a terrific job. She was dynamite, very interesting and appropriate for each level. The kids wanted to hear what she had to say. I strongly recommend that she speak to your high school students.
sheldon weinstein

I want to thank you for coming to my school and sharing your lovely and interesting story with us!!!

I wanted to let you know that the air is bubbling with your name in it. I've been dreaming of opening a center for performing arts for women in Jerusalem...I would love to get on your bandwagon and help any way I can! I ..have had long involved conversations with guests who are performing artists, about how Judaism and creative methods of self-expression are more in love then in conflict. I know that the blossoming of our community as Torah-true women is waiting for the performing arts to recieve the sort of publicity and support and attention that they deserve being the rich, beautiful sources of potential growth that they are. I deeply relate to your frequent references of using these skills in the context of healing. How marvelous that your tour is aimed at earning the financial begining of such a center! I truly hope that I have the privelege to be involved somehow. Exploding fireworks of kudos and much esteem.
braha

I am a dancer and it has been my passion since I was a little girl and had broadway stars in my eyes. I grew up dancing as much as possible... and have since become a ba'al tchuva and I have not danced as I used to and it's crazy and difficult and I need to find a way to dance as I did. Your centre looks like a place for me to come... G-d bless and you should have amazing success with what you are doing. I loved your show and have been since enjoying your CD
keren

Yasher Koach! I was at your Chicago-KINS show last night and enjoyed every minute. Best luck to you in all your endeavors!

Thank you so much for your time and interest in speaking with both me and my daughter. Whatever you said to her was meaningful and it had some good effect...Thank you so much for the courage to come out to the public and share this with us. I know it's hard on your family...it's VERY worthwhile to all the people you reach... Thank you, again, for all you've done thus far!!!! I hope we hear from you...

I saw you in the Brooklyn performance and I was mezmorized. I can't thank you enough for the inspiration you have given our community. I have a lot of friends that missed you and really want to see your show and hear your story. I heard on Nachum Segal that you are considering another performance in Brooklyn at the end of your tour. I am nervous I might miss the ad for it. Is there any way I can be put on an email list to be told about the show? Before I close I would just like to say Kol hakavod to you for the wonderful out look on life you possess. We are all so impressed how you were able to channel your talents in such a beautiful way. I'm sure your new center in Yirushalim will be a huge success. It will enable more women like you to be able to use their talents in a way that will not comprimise . Kol Hakavod.

Thank you for showing me that a full expression of life can be achieved by God through Judaism. I grew up in a christian home, but my husband and I have been moving toward our Judaism for years. We now have four children. You have given me more courage to wrestle with my identity and find truth.
jessica b.

Rachel-I just read the interview with you on aish.com - fabulous! I'm a convert, too, and it's always fun to read about other female converts who have the same feelings I did about Judaism. I have to laugh at people who think that Judaism, even the most observant/Orthodox forms, is restrictive of and disrespects women. Thank you for your testimony...
s. roth

Thanks so very much for your inspiratinal performance. I loved it and so did mom ! We really gained a lot that night from you performance. thanks again, and hope to see another one of your special performances.

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I just came home from your performance and i find you great, I look up at you really, i come from a very not religious county in vienna and it was very hard to be Jewish , so i can understand your meaning. It was very tough to be Jewish there so keep up. Thank you!
raizy

You are an inspiration! you are so unbelievably talented as well. i truelly enjoyed your performance (i want to go again!) i was also touched by the enthusiasm you gave each person as they went over to you after the show to thank you - and you thanked us each back. you are amazing! what an incredible journey. May you be blessed with much happiness, health, and success in the future. thank you
S.Z.

I just read your story and can't wait to see you in Dallas. I am in process of converting to Judaism and was inspired by your experiences. Thanks so much for telling your story.
Michele K.

My name is Jo, orignally from Japan, and also a convert! So I'm a Japanse Jew. When I read the interview and your website, I found your life journey to be very inspiring and encouraging. In many cases, I found that we have a lot in common that your life journey parralles with my early days in the States, serching for who I really am as Japanese. The only difference is that I grew up in Japan, so embracing many facets of Japanse culture, mostly foreign to the westerners and the Israelis. I wish ... I can see your performance. I really wanted to check out with your show and arts! Again I want to thank you for your beautiful life journey, testimony, compassion, and your fulfillment in Judaism, which really encourages me! Toda rava and domou arigatou.

I just read your interview. I just wanted to say that i'm very proud of what you did during your life. I wish everyone had that self confidence to find the right path of life and go through it as you did.

marilyn

I just read your story on Aish.com. You are a true merit to the Jewish people and inspire us all! raphi

hi - i think rachel factor's show was great. so much talent. you don't see that a lot these days. plus, she's jewish! not only that, but she's orthodox. i myself would like to become a songwriter/singer/writer/ actress some day. i am looking to record, but being a traditional jew makes it hard to perform, so i understand the struggle rachel must have gone through to get to where she is now. i wish her luck and i hope she inspires as many young women to find fulfillment and happiness in their judaism as muchg as she has for me. good luck, rachel, and stay inspired and truly inspiring.
atara d. stern

I am writing you from Honolulu and am copying your story for a Japanese friend whos story is similar to yours. She is from Japan and met a Jewish man. They both became observant. There are actually a few familys that have a mixed Asian and Jewish background...Best wishes

Kol Ha kavod to you for your dream and vision and for manifesting them and living them and for being such a conribution to our people. I read an article about you and I am sooo interested in the Performing Arts Center idea because I don't know how my self-expression can be tsanua and fulfilling in this lifestyle category! I am in a musical.....and I would love to help create, design, participate in that project!!!! ...I am proud of you even though we haven't met and I will look for your show nearest to me! Love and blessing and good shabbas,
miriam

I read your story and then your bio on your website. Yasher Koach to both of you - what a wonderful story.
heather

i liked Rachel a lot and am very impressed by her story and by her devotion (and the fact that she performs for women only is pretty impressive). my chabad friend must have whispered about 25 times during the show, "she's so cute!"....the show i went to was totally sold out with women from every kind of jewish background possible--from borough park types to chabad to non-religious, on-the-way to being religious, ect. i hear the shows have been selling out all over. I thought she did an amazing job carrying the show for over an hour -- with no props or costume changes! I was engaged by her story and i found her very very funny. She had a lovely voice. I found the poem she said after her Dad's passing very moving and well-done. Again, I think what she is doing with her G-d given talents is AMAZING -- that she is using them to further yiddishkeit and women's creative expression!!! Especially in the Holy Land!! Very important and praiseworthy. Much Peace. thanks alot..blessings..
r.r.

Thank you for your inspiring show last night. I was amazed at your courage.

Your show was so incredible and outstanding!!!!!! We loved hosting you in our home, and are looking forward to having you again. Everyone says hello to Ariel and Shalom and Tennessee (and Rachel and Tovia, too)! See you soon!

May The Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace..

I am not myself Jewish....though i appreciate your sense of alienne and then fulfillment in your lifestyle as the World's Jewish Japanesque Princess...may G-d BLESS your great future Work and Family richly!!!
john anthon disabatin

I thoroughly enjoyed Rachel's performance. I had the chance to meet her after the show as I certainly identify with much of her story. I am Japanese-American, born and raised in Honolulu and am a Jew!Sharing the many common factors made it special for me, especially the segment about her youth in Hawaii (particularly the makeup part, I laughed heartily --- but certainly the audience as a whole seemed to chuckle, too!) I truly believe it is a performance that all women can be moved by as most search for "their place" in life in some respect both outwardly and inwardly. She has a beautiful voice and am enjoying her CD. The website is wonderful. Toda rabah.
dreyfuss

it takes great courage, commitment, steadfastness, strength and love to do what you have done. i hope you'll continue to share your story; if possible, in more depth because i think people will benefit from understanding what the inner processes are really like. when people can see what a person experiences internally with such deep questions the story can become a healing force. as you know, there was a rachel who made it possible for the Jewish people to have one of our greatest teachers, rabbi akiva, who was descended from converts. may you continue to grow in Torah and mitzvot and be in avodah simcha, you and your mishpacha. shalom v'yasher koach
joshua spiegelman

Thank you so much for your story...
gil

Congratulations Rachel for following your inner voice without compromise. I know how tough it can be to come from the glitzy and powerful secular world and to enter the more modest religious one. It takes strength, character, integrity and purity of purpose. Our community is honoured to have you join us. G-d bless you...Your story is truly extraordinary and inspiring. It's a beautiful story of a genuine seekerï?piercing the secular veil to see beyond the superficial physical into the true spiritual world. I wish there were more people like you Rachel, our world would be such a better place.
paul agoston

In the past year I have done some public relations consulting for PUAH, pro bono. A few of my dear friends in Jerusalem attended your performance and were awe-struck. It gave me great pleasure to read your Q & A sent to me by AISH. I look forward to catching your future performanced in L.A. and meeting you personally. Kol HaKavod and L'Hitraot!
eva yelloz

I saw you during Succot in Jerusalem on Karen Hysod street. I loved your performance...
tova weinberger

Rachel you infused new meaning into being a JAP!!! And we are honored to have you join our 'sorority of Jewish American Princesses' ! Kudos on a wonderful performance encouraging us all to pursue our own creative outlets

Shalom, I read your beautiful article at Aish. I am a Sephardic Jew and it is always interesting to discover the various paths that people take. My family is African and we are all aware that are many people who have Jewish souls that were lost , so we are happy to hear from converts afterall the Jewish people lost 10 tribes... In the end, we are all striving on the face of the earth to become better people worthy of H-shem. Good luck in your journey and thank you for sharing.
gabriella ayer

I was at your show last evening. First row center. I tried to get to speak to you prior to the show but so was everyone else. I enjoyed it so very much and wish you all that you wish for yourself and your family. Your brought tears to my eyes and laughter to my heart. I am not Orthodox. My daughter and grandson are. She was close to a breakdown 6 years ago and turned to G-d. My Jodi does nothing half way. She went right to Orthodox. I am reform. I have just recently started Shabbat candles. I observe Rosh Hashana, Yom Kuppur, Chanukah and Pessach (this was my childhood). I love being Jewish but at age 63 still have many questions. Who knows what will be. Only one knows.
sandy rubin

I saw the article on aish.com. My wife is Japanese Canadian (sansei) and we are bringing our children up as jews through an orthodox synagogue. We also went through the coservative conversion however had a batmitzvah ceremony for our daughter through Aish in Toronto. We are now preparing for our sons Barmitzvah. My wife has not formally converted to Judaism as there are many issues surrounding her sense if identity as you referred to in your interview. I would very much like to make contact with you and your husband if at all possible.
david

I read your bio this morning as reats filled my eyes. You've left an impression in my soul. may Hashem give you much nachat from your family and may you comtinue to grow spriritually and pass on to others what you have learned.
allon abraham

I appreciated your article on Aish.com I'm very impressed that you chose G-d over success and then got both. You should be blessed bezchus your sacrifice to have many children and grandchildren who are moser nefesh for Torah, and inspire women all around the world to be moser nefesh, as well.
another rachel

bravo rachel! your show was actually a tribute to a wonderful man, who seems to have emotional depth, a rare capacity for change and the ability to help bring out his wife's beauty and talent. i wish both of you the increasing happiness that comes from taking the arduous journey inward...
